Our premium mistela Dona Dolça has garnered a triple accolade at the latest edition of the Sélections Mondiales des Vins Canada (SMVC) awards: the Grand Gold Medal, the Grand Jury Prize, and the top position in the Top 50 list.
The Sélections Mondiales des Vins Canada is the largest international wine competition held outside Europe. The 31st edition of the event took place in Montreal from 9 to 12 October 2024 at the Institut d’Hôtellerie et de Tourisme du Québec (ITHQ).
This year’s edition featured wines from 31 countries, with a total of 1,630 samples across various categories. The scoring criteria were as follows: Grand Gold (93 points and above), Gold (89 to 92 points), and Silver (85 to 88 points). Upon conclusion of the competition, the “Top 50” list of the highest scores awarded by the jury is published.
