The Valencian Association of Winemakers (AVE)<\/a>, chaired by Mr. Juan Clemente, held on Saturday April 13 the II Moscatel Thematic Conference in collaboration with the DO Valencia<\/a>. The event included, among others, the intervention of the Honorary Professor of Geography of the University of Valencia<\/a>, Mr. Juan Piqueras, who gave a talk-conference on the “History of Moscatel in the world”, and our winemaker, Joan Pic\u00f3 , who commented on how we work the muscat in Baron\u00eda de Tur\u00eds.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Moscatel Thematic Day is part of a variety tasting cycle and was held at the Bodegas Reymos<\/a> facilities in Cheste (Valencia). The conference was attended by us and by technicians from Cooperativa Santiago Ap\u00f3stol (Godelleta)<\/a>, Bodega Cherubino Valsangiacomo (Chiva), Cooperativa Montserrat<\/a> and Bodegas Murviedro<\/a> (Requena).<\/p>\n

After the visit to the experimental vineyard, where the production of clones with the Moscatel variety is being studied, a master tasting of 6 Moscateles from the participating wineries was held, our Son 2 D\u00edas<\/a> being the wine presented by our winemaker.<\/p>\n<\/div>
